Living the Dream

First off, I apologize that this is my first post in twenty days. I have a grand excuse though. My previous post was the day before going to Chicago to bowl the Peterson. The next several days were very busy for me (bowling, church and evansville, gaming with my brother, fly back to denver, study, test, test). See really busy.

However, I have no good excuse for the past 2 weeks. In that time I have been living a life that I would be living if I had more money than I knew what to do with (ie, filthy rich). Let me give you a rundown of a typical day. Wake up at 10 (or later). Play video games for a couple of hours. Eat lunch and watch a movie. More video games. A couple of the days I went bowling and played basketball. Then in the evening it was either TV, a movie, or video games.

So I've seen a lot of movies and have really enjoyed not having anything terribly important to get done. Sadly this lifestyle cannot last (it doesn't pay very well), and on Monday I resume working in the lab. The first month shouldn't be too bad due to the 4th this coming week, and the Brickyard at the end of the month. Starting in August though, it will be pretty much non-stop lab work until Christmas time (with weekends as my primary breaks).

There you have it. Now that my life is going to get into a rut (I like ruts, so don't worry), I will hopefully fall back into the post a week (maybe even twice).

Pre-Peterson posts...

First, let me apologize for the delay in posting. I've been crazy busy. So that means that I've put posting on the back burner and forgot about it. I guess that means my posting got burned (that happens when you leave something on the back burner too long). Well, I'm basically only making a post today, so that I can claim that I posted. I will attempt to get into a more regular posting routine.

I know that I've made the promises like this in the past. And in all likelihood, this will be short lived. Anyway, this is just a post to satisfy the public.

Well, tomorrow I bowl the Peterson. It's always an interesting and fun tournament. I'll attempt to make a post about the on-goings in Chi-town this weekend.

That's all. Hope you enjoyed.
